Barack Obama made a rare ad lib from his usual crippling dependence on his teleprompter in order to prove why depending on his teleprompter might be a oood thing after all. the president said his critics talk about him like he is a dog.
Demonstrating such a thin skin when you are the president is terribly unbecoming for him and embarrassing for the rest of the country. He has just revealed he requires the adulation even of people with whom he has political differences. Those are people who, y and large, do not talk to him like he is a dog, either. Should we host a national therapy session for the commander-in-chief’s hurt feelings? Free hug for everyone!
It has to be pointed out that Obama’s initial attitude towards those on the opposite side of the political aisle--after months of promising bipartisanship--was to tell them, ’I won.” So while I deny the president is talked to like he is a dog, he certainly cannot be shocked if his attitude comes back to haunt him. I suppose e has not received the "{Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7) devotion on his Blackberry yet.
What is worse, he announced in the same speech another boondoggle stimulus package. This time, he wants $ 50 billion for infrastructure improvements. The announcement comes less than two months before the midterm elections which promise to be a Waterloo for democrats because they have been too free spending over the last two years. If obama thinks his critics talk to him like he is a dog, wait until he sees how the democrats react after he is done destroying their brand.
