Giving the Best Water to My Family - Soft Water from the Coway Spa Water Softener. =)

My darling doggies, or furkids - are super pampered creatures. While I give them the best food and the best treats, as well as regular professional grooming and all - I am still looking out for the best for them. Some people have said that I am spoiling them all too much cos I sometimes even feed them Evian water for drinking. But you see... I know whats best for my doggies, I know whats best for Fatty, Ally and Perry. =)

I want the best for all of them - the best in everything, and importantly, the best of health for them all. I read about this appliance - called the Spa Water Softener, by Coway - which has some super capabilities.

The Spa Water Softener, by Coway.

I send my doggies for shower at the groomers' every weekend - but that is because I believe in the better equipment, shower stuffs, shampoo and all at the groomers', and I believe this appliance can now make showering at home BETTER than at the groomers'! You see... Miniature Schnauzers, yes my doggies are all miniature schnauzers - they tend to develop a skin problem due to their diet, the water and so on.

I read online that soft water is the much healthier option for human bodies, giving us much smoother and softer skin. I had a bad experience with 'hard water' last time in London - and I believe that soft water is definitely the healthier option.

Meet Ally - and the Coway Spa Water Softener.

Ally is my darling Miniature Schnauzer, who tends to get some skin irritations every now and then. I try to give her non-chicken diet, changed it with lamb, salmon etc.. just to counter that problem. It has reduced a lot already - and I am determined to make it even healthier for her. Further to that, I know that my darling gf also enjoys taking a long and refreshing shower, so having soft water to shower would also be healthier for her.

Do you know that the residual chlorine in tap water can cause skin diseases, congenital fever and rushes, as well as cause hair loss and skin aging because it destroys the vitamins in our body? Thats why an appliance like the Coway Spa Water Softener can make the water 'soft' - yes, it is able to transform the tap water in our homes to soft water. =)

Ally takes a closer look at the Coway Spa Water Softener.

The Coway Spa Water Softener comes in two models, a wall mounted unit, yes the one Ally is looking at, and the standalone unit. Both are very easy to install and very easy to use - ideally, for those of you with a designer toilet and bathroom - this Coway unit is slim and compact, and has a classy design perfect to match your Italian sanitarywares and Turkish marbles. =)

The unit retails at RM 1,900 for an outright purchase for 0% interest instalment plan. Or you can choose the rental option, for just RM 70 / month. Both plans comes with a bi-monthly product maintenance service and periodical filter replacement for up to five years. Of course, if you are not comfortable with it yet - and want to try it out... why not try it out then?

14 days free trial period - right now for the 1st 1,000 units only - just call up 1-800-888-111 or visit www.coway.com.my for more information!

Guess what... its SHOWER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Singapore is now the region's costliest place. =)

Forget Hong Kong, previously Asia's (outside Japan) costliest place.

Today, Singapore has officially overtook Hong Kong to be the region's costliest place to live. Tokyo remains the most expensive in the whole Asia, while Luanda in Angola - remains as the world's most expensive city. Other very costly places to stay in includes Osaka - which is ranked 6th in the world.

Singapore.

Sydney is becoming more expensive too, together with Melbourne. Both cities jumped many places to 14th and 21st respectively, while older cities such as London and New York dropped a bit.

What is ERICYONG77.com all about?

4th of July - the US Independence Day. =)

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.

Independence Day is a national holiday marked by patriotic displays. Similar to other summer-themed events, Independence Day celebrations often take place outdoors. Independence Day is a federal holiday, so all non-essential federal institutions (like the postal service and federal courts) are closed on that day. Many politicians make it a point on this day to appear at a public event to praise the nation's heritage, laws, history, society, and people.

Families often celebrate Independence Day by hosting or attending a picnic or barbecue and take advantage of the day off and, in some years, long weekend to gather with relatives. Decorations (e.g., streamers, balloons, and clothing) are generally colored red, white, and blue, the colors of the American flag. Parades are often in the morning, while fireworks displays occur in the evening at such places as parks, fairgrounds, or town squares.

Independence Day fireworks are often accompanied by patriotic songs such as the national anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner", "God Bless America", "America the Beautiful", "My Country, 'Tis of Thee", "This Land Is Your Land", "Stars and Stripes Forever", and, regionally, "Yankee Doodle" in northeastern states and "Dixie" in southern states. Some of the lyrics recall images of the Revolutionary War or the War of 1812.

Firework shows are held in many states, and many fireworks are sold for personal use or as an alternative to a public show. Safety concerns have led some states to ban fireworks or limit the sizes and types allowed. Illicit traffic transfers many fireworks from less restrictive states.

World's longest sea bridge, the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge opens.

The world's longest cross-sea bridge has been opened in China.

The Jiaozhou Bay bridge is 42-km long, and links the country's eastern port city of Qingdao to an offshore island, Huangdao. China Central Television reported the 35-metre wide bridge is the longest of its kind and cost more than 10bil yuan (RM4.66bil).

The TV station said the bridge, as well as an undersea tunnel, opened to traffic on Thursday. Supported by more than 5,000 pillars, the bridge took four years to build. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the previous record holder for a bridge over water was the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in Louisiana, US. The Chinese bridge is four km longer.

Malaysia - To be the Kings of Asia. =)

A cool video, compiled by MalayaTigers.com =)

Do you feel PERSECUTED? If NO, speak up?

Last night I blogged about one apparent opposition party staff who tweeted about calling a particular 'religious group' to go to a particular rally.

Today, I read about one Tony Yew who made a police report - yes, against that Twitterer.

Mr Tony said this on his blog... "A few nights ago, one of CM Lim Guan Eng's staff had saw it fit to jump on the bandwagon (despite normally blogging about her mundane life) of Bersih 2.0 by calling on 'all Christians to march for the persecution 'they' had done to us and our lord'. If you ask me if there are any persecutions, I would fault it on a former Education Minister who removed the Cathechism classes and replaced it with POL. Are there any other? There is talk of crosses being removed from church buildings, and I challenge those who accuse the government of having an official policy on this. But to incite ALL CHRISTIANS to march and turn a gathering into a religious one? What is she thinking off? More importantly, what has CM Lim Guan Eng been talking to his staff about to bring about these kinds of attitude? All these simply points to the 'Christian Nation' issue recently as not being far from fiction! We must all behave responsibly, and making such reckless remarks hardly qualifies one to work for a Chief Minister! Especially if one is in his 'Media team'."

So... now it is up to the relevant authorities to investigate and make the right decisions against any potentially irresponsible remarks. =)

Does she represent DAP?

Yesterday a popular blogger/twitterer from Penang tweeted this on Twitter. Apparently, she works with the.... errr.... I dunno lah, you all read lah ok.

I think all Christians shud march for all the persecution they had done to us and our Lord.

Errr.... For the rest of the words, I think they are pretty straight forward. Some of you may not understand 'persecution' though. According to Wikipedia, persecution is the systematic mistreatment of an individual or group by another group. The most common forms are religious persecution, ethnic persecution, and political persecution, though there is naturally some overlap between these terms. The inflicting of suffering, harassment, isolation, imprisonment, fear, pain or exclusion.

I read in two different blogposts that mentioned about the tweet, and the Twitterer. Here are some quotes from these blogs. =)

RockyBru wrote this - We live in peace in one country with many places of worship, many beliefs, many gods. If we want our children to continue to enjoy such a wonderful place, please don't think like @5xmom. (name censored).

APANAMA wrote this - With this latest SEDITIOUS tweet coming from the high-office in KOMTAR where the DAP secretary general is Chief Minister, I'm beginning to have serious concerns about the recent Negara Christian Conspiracy reported by the blogs and picked-up by Utusan Malaysia.

So... what is your view on this? I am not going to say much - but do go to Apanama and RockyBru's blog posts and read more about it, who she is, who she works for, who she represents and so on...

UFOs seen in sky over London!

A baffling footage of bright lights dashing through the skyin London, UK, during the day has been posted on YouTube. The clip shows tiny circular specks of white light flying at high altitude over the city in broad daylight.

Against the clear blue sky, five of the UFOs are seen speeding in the same direction before disappearing behind a cloud. A much larger glowing disc then emerges from behind the same cloud. It hovers slowly in a tight circle as other small specks follow the path of the others - before vanishing back behind the cloud. The mysterious "mother ship" then returns to view briefly before finally disappearing.

Meanwhile, a small crowd gathered near the Radio 1 studio in Great Portland Street, West London, to watch the spectacle and film it on their mobiles. The footage was uploaded on Friday.

In the description, the video's author wrote: "Right - took over a week to get it....but finally managed to get these critters on camera on a clear day, and even get a close-up." "It seems to be attracting quite a crowd now when they appear. Can anyone explain what on earth these lights are please?" Beneath an earlier video, in which similar specs of light can be seen less clearly on a cloudy evening, the same user wrote: "Been seeing these odd lights over Central London (BBC Radio 1 building) randomly for the past week." "Managed to get them on camera yesterday (Thurday) evening."

Meet Hugh Hefner's latest muse, Shera.

Roll aside Crytal Harris, 'coz here comes Shera Bechard.

The occasionally brunette beauty (she's originally a blondie) has been named by jilted playboy mogul, Hugh Hefner as his new squeeze. He tweeted about her, calling her his new girlfriend. "Shera [Bechard] is both our November 2011 Playmate & my new girlfriend," Hef wrote.

The 27-year-old model, who grew up in Canada, starred in the film Sweet Karma in 2009. Hef was rumoured to be dating Playmate Anna Sophia Berglund. But the 85-year-old insists that they're just friends. Hef was engaged to marry Crystal in mid-June. But she called off the wedding at the last hour.

NSFW: Phoebe Hui - Hong Kong D-cup model naked nude pics leaked!

A collection of nude photographs featuring the busty Hong Kong model Phoebe Hui has gone viral in the cyberspace. Hui, the proud owner of D-cup breasts, admits that she’s the person in the photos and that the nude shots leaked online after she lost her cell phone. While some speculate that this is nothing but a gimmick, Hui denied it, saying that she lost her phone in a mall on June 17.

“I really didn’t expect the photos to be leaked as my cell phone is protected by password,” she explained. She said she took the photos for fun and as a remembrance of her youth. “I hope everyone don’t take my photos too seriously. Many female celebrities overseas are doing this,” she said. Nevertheless, she is concerned that her personal data might be leaked and is considering seeking assistance from the police.
