We finally get a non-Sheldon-centric episode in this young season. Well, they could not quite wean themselves off Sheldon, as the B-story involved a humorous clash of pranks between Sheldon and Raj over sharing office space. Nevertheless, the emphasis was on Howard this time around. It wound up for my tastes anyway, the funniest episode of the fourth season so far.
We finally learn that Howard broke up with Bernadette because she caught him in a physical relationship with a World of Warcraft troll. He still misses her and she is open to seeing him again after help from Penny, Katee Sackhoff, and George Takei guide him along on how to patch up the relationship.
Penny is back to her generally mean characterization. She spendsa great deal of time making certain Howard humiliates himself as he rekindles his relationship with Beradette. This sort of behavior is a point I do not generally care for. I like it much etter when she is a happy part of the group. But that is a small gripe. The episode was otherwise great.
No if the powers that be will consistently keep n mind The Big Bang Theory is an ensemble show and not Sheldon and Four Other People We Do Not Really Care About Except for the Chick Because She is Hot..
