Close to a dozen years ago, I was dragged by friends to see Varsity Blues . I have seen All the Right Moves, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Risky Business, and Ferris Buuller’s Day Off. Teen fantasy lives have not been done on the screen even passably as well as they did in the early ’80’s, so my enthusiasm was nil. Until I first met Ali Larter: She left an impression:
