Here is a photo of the new Power Rangers…er, I mean Daleks from last night’s Doctor Who episode, “Victory of the Daleks.”I am told by old school Wholigans the new colors probably signify job designation. Okay, but that does not change the fact the colors look way out of place on a race of xenophobic killing machines. Not to mention the plastic look is too cheap and clean.
Daleks look better with darker colors and a more weathered shell. But that apparently is just my feeling. Early buzz on the redesign is overwhelmingly positive. Go figure.
