A new report circulating in the Kremlin today authored by France’s Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE) and recently “obtained” by the FSB shockingly quotes French President Nicolas Sarkozy [photo top right with Obama] as stating that President Barack Obama is “a dangerous[ly] aliéné”, which translates into his, Obama, being a “mad lunatic”, or in the American vernacular, “insane”.I have kicked around this speculation before. I recall he went on vacation during the campaigning period leading up to the Pennsylvania primary, leaving Hillary Clinton with the state all to herself. I had never seen anyone just take off in the middle of a presidential nomination process like that. It was as if Obama either did not appreciate the gravity of what he was doing or felt some sense of messianic entitlement to the presidency. I have subsequently been unable to rule out either possibility, but I have only playfully written about the subject.
According to this report, Sarkozy was “appalled” at Obama’s “vision” of what the World should be under his “guidance” and “amazed” at the American Presidents unwillingness to listen to either “reason” or “logic”. Sarkozy’s meeting where these impressions of Obama were formed took place nearly a fortnight ago at the White House in Washington D.C., and upon his leaving he “scolded” Obama and the US for not listening closely enough to what the rest of the World has to say.
Apparently, as this report details, the animosity between Sarkozy and Obama arose out of how best the West can deal with the growing threat posed by rising Islamic fundamentalism....
Seriously, though. Is there something wrong with Obama?
Look at this photo of Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper:I cannot read the mind of Obama or Harper, but body language speaks volumes. Harper is looking straight at Obama’s finger. It is hard to tell if that is a look of submission or repressed anger o his face, but Harper’s right hand is balled into a fist. Whether he is being conciliatory or resisting knocking Obama’s block off, he is being treated in a manner unbefitting a long loyal ally like Canada.
This certainly is not the first time. In recent days, Obama left Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu among subordinates with the message that when the prime minister was willing to give him what he wants, they will talk Otherwise, he went off to have dinner with his family.
This all started with what could be chalked up to naïve breaches of protocol, like returning the bust of Winston Churchill unceremoniously or presenting a gift of unplayable DVDs the United Kingdom Prime Minister Gordon Brown or even refusing to dine with the Sarkozyes in France. Obama’s continually deteriorating behavior risks an international incident.
Even the press, his staunchest allies, are noticing. Recently, the White House has blatantly let it be known it will trade access for positive write ups. The press was subsequently shut out of the useless pageant known as the nuclear summit.
So what is the deal? Extreme narcissistic personality disorder would be my best 9layman) guess. Narcissists are arrogant andself-absorbed. They crave the adulation of others, but cannot maintain close relationships because they always expect to get their way. To them, it is a given everyone around them recognizes that fact.
So Pennsylvania Democrats should have awarded him all their delegates, Republicans need to roll over because, “I won,” journalists need to give him good press because he said so, and our allies need to fall in line with what he wants and be grateful he even gives them the time of day. Lord, they already get the chance to bask in his personal glory. What more could those ingrates ask for?
I have not even touched on how his self-centered world view compels him to forcibly alter Policy by ignoring the constitution ad popular will in order to fulfill it or shifting allegiances by befriend Hugo Chaves, bowing to Muslim kings, or unilaterally disarming our nuclear arsenal.
I think Sarkozy has a point. Obama is off in the head.
