Suday night, Barack Obama told Kazakh President and dictator for Life Nursultan Nazarbayev that the united states is still working on its democracy. He also said he had taken "historic steps" during his presidency to improve American democracy.
Like what?Using thugs to intimidate voters? Demonizing dissenters? Passing healthcare reform against the popular will? Taking over 1/6 of the nation’s economy? Granting press access in exchange for favorable stories? Dismissing the Christian character of the majority of the population? Bowing to royalty?
Tel me, Mr. President, exactly what historical steps you have taken to improve democracy in the United States? As I recall, the one bright spot we have had in favor of democracy since you have been elected president--the striing down of corporate spending limits in campaign finance reform--was soundly criticized by you in the State of the Union address.
Obama seems to think we are nt only on equal footing with Kazakhistan, which is a brutal dictatorship the State department classifies as a major human rights violator, he also thinks the united states is an evil country with much more to atone for than any other. Perhaps we can chalk it up to that flawed Constitution he so willfully ignores anytime its suits him.
Bush 43 stood with dissidents and is still vilified. Obama stands with dictators while his praises are song towards the heavens. How did that happen?
