A Very Brady Divorce! After five years of marriage, a reality show, and a host of public displays of affection on Twitter, former Brady Kid Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry, the first winner of Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model reality competition, are calling time on their unlikely romance.
“After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated,” Phil Viardo, the couple’s longtime manager said over the weekend. “The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union… They still love one another but need some distance to consider their future,” he added.
Knight, 53, fell in love with the acid-tongued Curry, now 28, while the two were housemates on the defunct VH1 reality series The Surreal Life. After announcing their engagement on the show’s season finale, the newlyweds nabbed their own spinoff series, My Fair Brady, which documented their wedding and first year of marriage.
